3 Days in Dubai on a Budget
Dubai has this reputation for borderline ridiculous levels of luxury--lambos on every street corner, gold rings the size of bath tubs, a $200,000 pizza, it’s even been crowned the “global superyacht capital.” So we came here expecting this to be our biggest budget challenge ever...you know we had to try anyway.

Honestly, this video wasn't even supposed to exist. We came here with the intention of making a 3 days in Hanoi and Saigon, ya know covering the capital and the biggest city, but as soon as we got here, we looked at each other and decided that obviously we gotta take a crazy trip all the way across this country and see the whole darn thing from top to bottom. Stumbled across your UA-cam Chanel looking for Japan videos. I must say you two are my favourite travel UA-cam video content creators. So genuine and authentic. Watching you two makes me want to pack my bags a leave....so thank you. Keep up the great work. Also love how you two keeping the travel within smaller budget. I too can't afford to spend $100 per meal. Keeping it real.

Enjoyed your video. I've lived here for 9 years and it's been amazing to watch it grow. There are many surprising cheap or free things to do. The malls threw me when i first moved here too, but then i realized it's a desert, and malls are indoor so they do everything here, not just shop: banking, bills, eating, recreation. Ibn Battuta is my favourite, designed based on the famous world traveler's adventures. You don't have to buy, just observe. And getting out of town.... in the last few years, the UAE has invested a lot in natural activities all over that are free or cheap. Restored forts, parks, hiking, beaches, etc. I love living here!

Also, I was thrown that you didn't ride bikes or scooters. So glad you followed the rules, but I have never, ever seen people on those wear either helmets or vests. I have my own bike that I ride (nice tracks by the way) so I see them everywhere. Never seen people do that so I was shocked to hear that was a rule.

And yes, I am sad about the grand mosque in Abu Dhabi with the mall. You used to be able to drive right up to it and go anytime. But too many people now. A good alternative is the Grand Mosque in Fujairah. Second largest by worshipers in UAE. And no one there!

I hope our government do something about tourism in the philippines. Like if you are a tourist, there's a website you can use to book different tours around the area where tourist usually go. That way, transportation wont be a big issue and a draining situation. Bc honestly, we cannot do anything with the system of how it go bc many already has independent transport businesses but really hoping there's a system for tourist for them to get transportation easy all with regulated and correct prices and tour prices and boats all regulated as well.

Vietnam is the funnest place in Asia (including all 54 countries) because the Vietnamese people know how to have fun. Contrast that with South Korea, Japan, and China.

I will go there alone for eight weeks in January/February and I am budgeting over $15,000 USD (including the flight, rental car, gas, hotels/camping, food, entrance, fines). It's always better to estimate higher and then be pleasantly surprised.

I'm also stubborn about Japanese TV. I'm not interested in movies, comedians, or UA-camrs, I'm just a UA-camr who just buys a bimall iPhone and streams it. My image is being tarnished by the people around me, so this is where it comes from. I want my family's life to be better too. If I had one thing, I wouldn't be able to do it.I did a lot of things and got a lot of hate for being greedy, but I hope it's a good thing.
